The creamier the flesh of the avocado, the higher in fat it is!
Avocado is definitely something that we should be including in our diet more often. However, even though they contain mainly good fats, they’re still relatively high in total fat and calories. If you sit down every day to eat a whole avocado, you will get the benefit of the heart-healthy fatty acids but you’ll also pack on the pounds. Limit it to 1/2 an avocado per day!
