I grew up in a very small town in rural Ontario before moving to the West Coast where I now reside in the most beautiful city in Canada, Victoria, B.C.
Since a very young age I have loved life and thirsted to experience every inch of it, the good, the bad and the ugly. Many might describe me as a firecracker who loves shiny, gaudy things. If its got sequins on it or is extremely tacky and over-the-top there is a good chance I will love it! Never leave me unattended in your house or near your things with rhinestones and a glue-gun. (You’ve been warned!)
Fashion is my passion and playing dress-up on my (lately unwilling) daughter is one of my favourite past-times. Trying to manage work part-time, major home renovations, all the while coveting that ever elusive mother of the year award makes for some very interesting living.
I often get so caught up in the day-to-day that I forget to sit back and really enjoy things in the present. Its important for me to remind myself on a daily basis to live the way I did as a child and to allow my creativity an outlet so I can live life with passion and heart.
