I am a wife and mother of two beautiful little boys aged 3 years and 7 months. I was born in Vancouver but have lived in Victoria most of my life and hope to raise my children here.

I am a self-confessed social media junkie; I fell into blogging quite by accident after the birth of my second little boy. I found myself loving my job as a mother but craving more personal and professional stimulation and so, my foray into blogging began.

I have a passion for reading and writing and try to do both as much as possible in what little spare time I have. I try to live a green lifestyle and feel privileged to live in a city where so many people share my beliefs and goals.

I have a weakness for shopping and love anything girly – spas, make-up, fashion, jewelry, high heels; I love it all – which is ironic as it is all men in my household. I love my boys but, I am still holding out for that little girl… maybe one day.

I am a music addict and could not live without my iPod and stereo. I have amazing girl friends but I am proud to say my husband and my brother are my BFFs.

I am excited (and a little nervous) to be blogging for Kids In Victoria and look forward to meeting some new people.
