Get into the swim of it! At the Swimathon for Victoria Hospice, individuals are encouraged to raise funds and swim in this great family event. Swimmers of all ages and abilities, families and friends are invited to join in the fun! Individuals can raise funds by collecting pledges for swimming laps.

Making your own camera is one of the best ways to really connect with the process of image making and each child will have the opportunity to experience the wonder of lensless photography by making their own pinhole camera.
We're recycling Christmas gift boxes and everyone will get a chance to make their own pinhole camera to take home! Really cool!
After making the cameras, we'll work on still life photos, portraits or if the weather is nice, head outside to photograph landscapes. Using paper negatives allows us to developed the photos right away in our darkroom, with the help of the kids. magic!
Everyone will bring home their cameras, paper negatives & at least one finished print from the photos made during the day.
No previous experience required.
What to Bring:
> Dress comfortably for a neighbourhood walk/working outside
- good shoes or boot, warm sweater, hat and coat...
> A light snack for mid-morning (no nuts snacks, please). We will provide juice and water for everyone.
