marriage counseling retreat???

I am trying to find one on the island and I'm not sure where to look. My husband and I have been separated for a year now , and we thought we would like to give something like this a try instead of week to week counseling. Has anyone heard of one or has taken one. I would love to hear about and costs if possible .I think it is usually a weekend thing . Thank you!

this may not be exactly what you are looking for - but check this place out - The Haven Institue, on Gabriola. They offer many courses, including relationship building ones for people in conflict etc.

I stumbled upon it by accident and some of it looks really amazing and I would love to do a course with DH sometime - although they are fairly pricey.

I was just given a brochure for one that's coming up soon here in Victoria. It's called the Family Life Marriage Conference and takes place at the Empress.
