Eeeh, I don't even know if I should touch this topic. My shoveling one got a little ridiculous. lol

Anyway - I noticed that joggers seem to have an easier time getting through it all. Makes me wish I had one!

The only stroller we ever bought was the Costco jogger (the model in 2003 which is a bit different from the one now). Anyway the reason we bought that one and not a combo was because we knew we would do a lot of trail walking out here in Sooke and some running and we wanted a good stroller with decent wheels. I also liked it because it reclined to an almost flat position, so for the first few months I just put one of those head huggers thru the straps (similiar to how you would do it for a carseat) and then strapped dd in. She really liked the stroller and we put tons of miles on it. As she got older she could sit up and enjoy the view. I would recommend one that reclines, at least until they can sit up by themselves. Also, the one thing I would have liked was a snack tray or toy bar. I see the new one at costco has this and I wish the one we bought had it. Otherwise I love the jogger!!!

AWWW Proudmommy- so sorry you had such a tough time getting out here.
Yes, the sidewalks (or lack of them) makes it very difficult in the best weather.
Was the bus incident on your way home?
