New ANON Feature added to KIV

Hi everyone,

I know the loss of the KIV Anonymous forum has been difficult for some.

Here's an addition to KIV that I believe will be a way to allow the anonymous feature to exist, without bringing some of the negatives that can come along with including such a forum.

I have added an anonymous feature to a select few fora on KIV.

Cafe KIV, Parenting, Pregnancy & Birth, and Healthy Living

The way the anon feature works is this:

You may post anonymously, BUT you will need to be registered, AND logged into your account to do so.

This means that you are anonymous to the rest of the KIV members, BUT you are NOT anonymous to KIV moderators, or KIV admin.

So, if you wish to post anonymously, you may do so by 'checking' the "Post as Anonymous" option down below (when posting).

I hope this works as intended - allowing KIVrs a chance to post things which are sensitive in nature, ask for advice when they are embarrassed, and perhaps get help with something they would never ask for without such a feature.

I also sincerely hope this does not get abused.

As they saying goes, "With added freedom comes added responsibility", and the same goes here.

This option has been added, but now you are all responsible for your posts, and if there is abuse, members will be banned from the site - immediately, and indefinitely.

Please be nice to one another, and remember to treat each member of the KIV Community with respect.
