Rant! Chips & Dip

Postby Mom O The Mob on Fri Feb 16, 2007 11:35 pm

I am addicted to ripple chips and California dip!(Sour cream and onion soup mix)
It's been going on for the past few months and I need too stop!
Please gross me me out so I won't crave it all the time.
PleaSSSSSSSSSe!
I think I've gained 20lbs because of it!
As God takes us one by one our chain will link again!

Like you, I am a chip and dip (same kind) fenatic. I gave it up cold turkey after Christmas, it was a hard withdrawal, drank lots of water to curve my cravings, but after a few weeks the cravings subside and it gets easier. NOTE: Do not cheat and have a small bag once in a blue moon, it puts you back to the full on craving again. Hope this helps.

Hmmm... what can I say to gross you out?? How about reading the label? All those chemicals, that maltodextrin and stuff... those are all flavour enhancers. Without which, your chips would taste like cr*p.

Sorry, this probably isn't helping much. I don't know what to say, because I actually really do find chips gross and wouldn't eat them unless I was stranded on a desert island. But I did used to eat them. I don't know how I kicked the habit, though. I think I just stopped buying them.

Bet that california dip would be awesome with carrot sticks or cucumbers!

Seat belts? I was thinking I would need full body restraint.
