i was having a great night, sitting here watching a tv movie, then i see somethign the size of a rat moving across my floor, it was a wolf spider.
i tried to kill it..tried to throw a wallet at it...didnt have my trusty swiffer anywhere in sight..

but..it escaped..and now we cant find it..we took out half the things under my bed (and oh boy thats a big job) and theyre in ap ile in hte hall now..but still cant fidn it.

i dont wanna go to sleep....not in here..but i donno what else to do:( i sent the cat under there..thoguht he otta be good for something..but he didnt find it..my sister and i spent some time looking for it...nope.

yuck. i hate spiders. i am just waiting to find them in my tub. this time of year is horrible. i usually scream for the cat. one time she was playing with one in my sink and flung it. i couldn't find it. i am shuddering just thinking about it.

You need to get conker seeds and put them all over your house. I have them in every corner of my house and we haven't had a spider in three years.

I feel for you. I don't really mind spiders but we had one the size of a Chiuahua come out of the closet the other day. It scared the crap out of me! Hubby grabbed it and tossed it in the toilet then he gasped, he didn't squish it enough first, so it was climbing out at him, it did go down though. It was all pretty funny. Really we probably should have put the poor thing outside.

Spiders ...... blech!!
I used to live in a ground floor apartment that was over-run with Wolf Spiders ....
Just as you finished getting rid of one, another was climbing out from somewhere .....

YUK! I am totally petrified of spiders- big and small. I wouldnt be able to be comfortable in my home until it was gone.

It seems like they are a bit more active at night, so keep an eye out in the evening.

they are more active at night, i know this because i googled it last time there was a spider in my house.
thankfully that one was in the basement.
acutally that storys a lil funnie.


i was washing dishes in the downstairs kitchne and looked up hes sitting on the wall...so i run for cover.

again for some reasoni didnt have my swiffer even in the house at the time..and it was too late at night to call gradnpa(lives a block away..hes spider killer if need be) and my parents were away..so got the broom.
the broom sucks to kills piders with..but i bravly went to sqish this thign..
HE GRABBED ONTO THE BROOM!!!!!!
i screamd bloody murder..and droped the brooom on teh ground.
he landed on all 8...and sat there looking at me..
i was waiting for neighbours to come rushign over as i litterly screamd bloody murder at 11:30 at night.
no one came (Greattt to know!;) ) but i went to grab a shoe from the other room came back it was gone.

so i was up most of that night..but couldnt find it..

anyways the next day..i googled it found out htey hunt at night..and i waited..i went down stairs early enough that i could call grandpa if i saw him.
sure enough lil buggers istting on the wall again.
grandpa hero came over.






however..lastnights spider..was much more lucky then this one..as i had to give up at 2 am and go to bed.
i have no idea where he is..but most of my under my bed is sitting in a pile in teh hall way..and will not ever come back.
the swiffer is within arms reach of me..


funny thing is i have chestnuts..but aparently they didnt work.

Funny! This happened to me a few years ago. I went to bed..only to be woken up about 30 minutes later by my husband who had a frazzeled look to him and immediately I got up and panicked..He says, theres a freeking huge spider in the living room and you need to go and kill it. I get all mad at him and say thats the reason for waking me after it took awhile to go to sleep?? So off I go in my nightie and fly swatter and proceed to the livingroom where he last saw it...he says it was on the couch...now it must be under the couch after looking over the couch..so I ask him, please lift the couch so I can swat it...he says no way!! Im like Fine, so I lift the couch in what must have taken superhuman strength to do so and see the spider there in the middle of the floor under the couch...flying comes the swatter and I missed, shoot..it runs for its life...up back the couch it goes and over the cushions, down the side and back under..and of course I missed everytime..so I just stuck the swatter under the couch aimlessly hoping to get it..then I lift it and whew, got it!!
Looked over at my husband victoriously and all I could see what a huge sigh of relief as the whole time hes hiding around the corner...

yes well, i moved into a house, and the second night I was there, a HUGE spider was crawling on the couch. I scream, start crying, run out of the house, grab my phone and call my mom at nine at night FRANTIC. She thought I had been robbed or something lol. I made her get dressed and drive 15 min. to come and pick me up, and I moved all my things out the next day. It sounds crazy to write, but I am scared of the little tiny spiders I see once every couple months in my house right now, I just couldn't stay there! After hearing about that spider in the ear story, I actually have to get my dr. to check my ears when I go next. I would probably go stay somewhere else if there was a spider under my bed. haha

I am so scared of spiders also. I use a product called Spider Ban . I swear by it. I use it every year, spray my doors and windows. I don't get spiders anymore!!! It is the only product I have found that really works. It is a chemical, but that is how scared of them I am. I pack up the animals and kids and we leave the house for 2 hours. Well worth it in my opinion. It is made by CIL.

these stories are alot funnier when they happen to someone else.

i have now cleard under my bed..all the bags are going to big brothers (ok i didnt really use them!) but hes now here in sight.
i will update if i see him tonight.

I second Spider Ban. I see dead spiders on the odd occasion, but it has been a very long time since I saw one shooting across the floor.Now that I said that I am sure I will start seeing them again because it has been a long time since I used the spray. I also leave the house while it dries.Children are at school, cat gets kicked out of the house..then I open all the windows to air the room out..The poison has a sort of kerosene smell to it..I was told that they use Kerosene in Antigua outside of the house (you guessed it for spiders...)

Luckily I am fine with them in the garden as long as they are below me.When they come into my space; that's a totally different story..not a good combination..

I can't do spiders in my house!! I run and scream, I can't help it. It's especially bad when my son is sleeping. I've woke him up that way.

I have no idea what I'm gonna do if my husband goes out with his ship (he's on 48 hour notice), anyone want to volunteer to come kill spiders for me when I call? Haha. I can't even do the tiny ones, help!!

the scream is totaly an unhelpable thing...like i said i screamd bloody murder a few different times..i happend to be home alone and had no one to rescue me...but lol..bloody murder.
