Cub scouts/Boy scouts

Hi we wanted to get our 6 years old to join. Any of you Mommies & Daddies out there have their kids into Cub scouts? Who do I call to register him? Any tips on these club??

Hi if he's 6 he will have to go into Beavers-Cubs is ages 8-10-registration is usually first week of Sep-depends on what neighbourhood you live in but there are usually ads in the local newspapers about when/where to register. Hope this helps!

my son and daughter are both in beavers this year and we love it

i am a leader and it is so much fun. i would highly recommend getting involved if you can. i had no experience with scouting (i did brownies and guides when i was young) but without leaders the group can't run. we have a great group of kids and parents.

check your son's school. we usually give them contact info in september.

what ages can the boys start. I have a 3.5 year old who would love something like that, too young I bet.

Beavers is ages 5-7...don't think they have anything younger than that

I just signed up my boys for Beavers tonight at the Scout Hall on Marigold, I'm not sure if they are doing it again tomorrow or some other nights. If you go to the Scouts Canada site you can find your way to the local page and it has contact numbers and emails to find out where you need to go.
