Another sad story.

oh my goodness, i can't even imagine. I would suspect Maytag will have a huge lawsuit on it's hands for this one!
The willingness to accept responsibility for one's own life is the source from which self-respect springs.

How absolutely horrific
I wanted to add that it's just as easy for a child to climb into a dryer and have the same horrible fatality. My sister and I used to climb into the dryer and hide (my poor parents prob never even knew).
Keep your laundry doors closed and locked and i would suggest always locking your dishwashers too along with getting a stove lock. All these things just scare the crap out of me.
That poor family

I wish I hadn't read that one. That's so tragic. That poor family.

How awful. I cannot imagine the way the 13 year old feels after cmoing across that and feeling responsible for it. I have boys of both those ages exactly and they are SO CLOSE! I cannot imagine the horror my older son would live with and the loss he would feel, never mind how the paretns are dealing with it all. My heart goes out to this whole family. I hope somehow they will cope.
