Rant-My Hair Experience
I went in this morning to have a fun mother daughter morning getting our hair cut together and we had fun until it was my turn to get my hair cut and my hairdresser was running behind. She tried to work it out with the customer waiting and had some one else help her. This isn't even my problem.
My problem is with the manager of the store!!! The first ten minutes on my hair cut she kept nagging and picking at the lady cutting my hair to keep on time. As a result I am totally stressed out, can't relax, I didn't communicate what I wanted done with my hair very well and as much as it is an awesome cut it is not at all what I wanted.
What was suppose to be a fun morning sucked. I talked to two staff members, but how do you complain to the manager about herself? I can't even fix my hair because it is to short where I wanted to grow it out and to long in the back. I am so mad at this lady and feel so sorry for my hairdresser.

You complain to the manager. I would tell her how you felt during your visit and that you felt it was completely unprofessional of her to act that way. Also be sure to tell her that although it is a nice cut not at all what you wanted.

I think if I were in your position, I would write a letter. I would emphasize that with her harping on your stylist, you weren't able to get the cut you wanted. Because of the manager's actions, you are unlikely to return. I would keep it short and to the point. Get a friend to proof read it to make sure you're not too emotional in it.
By writing a letter, you get to say the things you want to without her getting all defensive on you. If the manager values your business, she should reply trying to make amends with you.

OP here
Thanks for the feed back. I will write a letter this week. I have calmed down a lot, but am still not happy with the hair cut. I should have rebooked the apt when it started and left. I felt stuck and helpless. I am sure the manager doesn't see it the way I do. I just felt bad and if anything she was escalating the conversation and then when the lady cutting my hair tried to say something she would say "it's okay, it's okay, it's okay..........."

I am so glad to hear you are going to write a letter. I always think it is so unprofessional for anyone to act that way when clients are around. Take it away from the clients so no one feels upset. Stick to your guns.

Op again
It will be easy to write a letter. Everytime I look in the mirror I am mad. I hate my hair and I will have grow out parts of it to get the cut I want again. So much for my new cut to go on holidays with
It is stupid, but I really looked forward to this and it mattered for once.
