Babywearing group or carrier lending library or ?

Is there such a group here in Vic? I want to order either a Babyhawk, a Kozy carrier, or even a BECO, but it seems like personal preference as to people's favourites on sites such as thebabywearer.com.... Would love it if I could try a few on to see what works best for baby and I.

My "baby" is getting awfully big and heavy (3 years old next month! :shock:

) so my babywearing days are numbered

I've sold off most of my stash, but I do have a couple of wraps that I haul him around in sometimes.

Cress, what kinds of wraps do you have? I had a UBW for a long time and it was GREAT for my long and lean baby girl but my big fat rock of a baby was terrible for it. I really want a woven wrap.

I have a Didy waves and an Amazonas Brazil, both are woven. I haven't tried a stretchy wrap, but mine are so supportive. DS is just a little guy, maybe 30 lbs on a good day, but I can carry him for hours, and I'm a total weakling.

Now, I don't suppose someone has a Toddler Patapum for me to try? :unibrow:

i have a few things I would be happy for others to try. I have a Eden MT, kangaroo korners fleece pouch, ergo, momo sling, oopa sling, and a new style Sachi MT(still waiting for that one in the mail).
I'm thinknig about adding a babyhwk to the stash..would love to try one out first though:)
