I'm totally a night owl and don't go to bed before 1 am. Then I usually read for 30-60 minutes and have to get up with the kids at 7 am. But I'm lucky that I can usually fit a nap in during the day when the baby sleeps and the other kids are at school so I feel pretty good during the day. I've never been able to go to sleep early. Of course if I had my way I'd be sleeping till noon every day as well, but alas those days are loooooong gone.

I'm totally a night owl too.. I usually go to bed between 12 and 1, and get up at 7. I don't nap or anything during the day, but I don't find that it bothers me too much.. although I usually find myself falling asleep early on Wednesdays

I used to stay up regularly to 11:30 or midnight, but I find I feel so much better if I make a point of getting to bed earlier now.
So I aim most nights for 10pm (but not tonight obviously!)

I think thats why dh wont let me get a laptop. He knows I'll be laying in bed eating, watching tv and playing on the computer while he tries to sleep.

Glad to know that I am in the company of other night owls. I too cherish my me time which typically happens after 10pm... lately, however, I have been finding the only way for me to get done all the work that needs to be done is to work long into the night. I work from home at another job - Usborne is just my "hobby"
- so my flexible schedule permits these wacky hours. I am happy to report, however, that I have just printed off a nearly complete draft of a report that should have been done last Thursday
Now I just have to proof the darn thing... anyone have any toothpicks to hold open my drooping eyelids.

Tonight is the exception. Normally, I am in bed early. I talked to my six year old niece in Calgary, she is really upset about things happening in her home and I am sitting up fantasizing ways I can kidnap her and bring here to live with me... Not really, but damn, if I thought my sister would let her live with me, she would be here in a heartbeat!
