Donations for Mexico

as many of you know, we're travelling to a small village in Mexico soon. I've found a website that fundraises for the little school in the village. I'm waiting to hear from them as to what items they need, and perhaps we can bring things down to them. their website lists things like coloured markers, paper, pencils, english storybooks.

I thought I'd put this out there if there are folks on here that have story books they can pass on, or if they'd like to contribute anything else. Please only give if you can, no pressure. This is a busy time of year, and this is very last minute.

Count me in too as I'm sure there's lots that we have around the house that we can donate...and I'm sure we can make a stop at the dollarstore for some of those extra goodies for the kidlets.

A friend who is a teacher did this a couple of year ago and I will direct her to this link.
She will have awesome suggestions and can probably rally up some supplies.

hi all. First off, I know this is a busy time, and SUCH short notice. So if nothing comes of this, it's okay, really.


They confirmed that they need any and everything on their list posted above. I have two big boxes of books (thanks Shona and setjc) and i'll take whatever else i can fit. Cut off date is Jan 2nd, cause i'm packing that night and leaving the next day. I live in Fairfield. If you have something to drop off please email me directly, and otherwise, I know we all have good intentions, if it can't go to this I'm sure it can be given elsewhere.
