Would you go to.... (moral dilemma)
Disneyland without your kids????? If I do should I lie about where I'm going (kidding) or should I try and talk dh in to coming and bring the whole fam????
( my hubby hates the idea of disneyland..I love it there and have been a few times.)
my sis wants to pick up and go without the kids.... or just bring the older kids

If you can swing it, bring the family. I'd love the opportunity to be able to. It should be a part of every childs life.
And, have a "girls" vacation somewhere tropical with pool boys

My sister in law was house/babysitting for a family who took everyone but their 2yr old to Disneyland... for about a week I think. I can't recall how many other children they had, but they left the young one at home and she watched him for a week while they went with the older one(s).... Jayna

If that is a place you think you would enjoy without kids for a girls weekend away, I would go for it...you can always take the kids another time...or make this a kid trip and do a girls trip somewhere else...I don't really see anything wrong with going without them though. Is it bothering you about the location and that the kids would like it, or going away without the kids?

How old are your kids? If they're REALLY young, they wouldn't enjoy or probably remember DL anyway. You can always go again when they're older and they will have fun.

Well, a couple of years ago I was going to florida for business with a couple of gals and we booked a day at disney world. I didn't tell the kids until I got home. I don't think I'd pick disney as a destination without my kids.....but if I was going to be in the area anyway, I woudln't feel the least guilty in stopping by with my girlfriends.

Seriously - GO! Without the kids. Little dude is too little, and A is at that age where she might not remember too much, I would wait a couple of years to take the kids. My mom took me the summer before kindergarten and I barely remember it - talk about a waste of a trip! Shoulda waited til I was 8 or 9.

Don't give a poop about a catchy sig...

I'm not sure how old your kids are, but I was given a lot of grief about taking my then 2.5 year old to Disneyland last year. SO many people said it was a waste of money and that she wouldn't remember a thing. I did not take her there for 'memories', I took her there because I knew she'd have a blast, which she totally did. She looks at pictures all the time from our trip and talks about what we did there. It's almost been a year. We plan to take her again in 2 years.
The first time I went I was 14 and I didn't remember much of the trip, but it came back to me when I went last year. Sometimes it's not about memories, it's about what you do NOW. That may not be much help on making your decision, but I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in on taking young children
On the other hand, it would also be great to go again without kids, so you can go on whatever rides you want, not worry about them getting fussy in the line-ups, worrying so much about bathroom breaks etc etc.

Yes I would totally go without my kids!
I love DL! My bro and I were given a choice when I was around 18... Mexico or DL... we both choose DL much to my parents shock.
I could live there! We are planning on taking the kids in a couple years. Hopefully just before I'm pregnant again (if we decide on 3). So we'll have ~2 and 4 year old. DH hates big rides... but we'll also have grandparents with us. I have a feeling if we go I'll end up spending most of the days alone

would you go..
I would take them! We went to Disney World without our son and we felt so guilty, we had fun too but kept saying, ohhhh he would have love this ride or loved that one...and we really missed him!! Next time we brought him and it was so much more fun! That is a memory he will never forget and neither will we!!
