Is this not the best show ever!? My 21 month old ds goes bananas when it comes on. Do your kids like it? It's the only show he'll sit and watch ALL the way through with a gigantic smile on his face. What is it about this show?

I was just humming the theme song when I came on and saw this.
My DD loves it but I have no idea why. Catchy tune though.

my DS loves it, too. i can't stand it! i don't mind the rhythm group, nor the lil singing puppets, but the body posing group OMG... i'm all for the comfort of not wearing a bra but that captain huppette drives me nuts.
DH and I will have dinner and we'll put my son in his playyard with treehouse in the background. as soon as he hears the opening song he stops playing, stands up, and walks to the side of the playyard to watch it. it's the funniest thing.
i have to say, i'm more of a hi-5 fan, which he watches during breakfast.

Ds' love affair with 4 Square is just coming to an end. I would say it was his fave for a LONG time. His favourites being the 'hep me ho's' as we call them and the Beat Team. He'll still watch it when it comes on but he's not quite as mesmerized as he once was.

Hate this show. Especially the terrible poetry and the Captain Huppette bit.
The singing is not bad sometimes.
DD only watches it if it is on between 2 other things at lunch time, or right before a show she likes.
There is a worse show though, Wonderpets!

I know this sounds super bad... but my 9 month old LOVES this show. When I take him to work with me (I nanny part time), the twins love treehouse. That is one of their fav shows too. Liam (my baby) will sit and watch the whole show!! Im not too fond of it. But if the kids like it.. fine by me. The theme song with the Captain Huppette is always in my head. Since Liam was born, I sing that song to him. Before he was even aware of TV. He loves it. Probably why he's so fond of the show....
Also, Liam loves Big Comfy Couch. Some of his first belly laughs were at that show!!
