Usborne Book Open House for KIVers

Greengecko and TheBookShelf are hosting a special Usborne Books Open House for KIVers on Tuesday, March 11 from 7pm – 9pm. Come and check out the new 2008 catalogue and some of the wonderful books that Usborne offers. We will be drawing one lucky Mystery Host who will receive all the hostess benefits (typically 10-12% of the party total in FREE books). There will also be a Free Book Draw. Anyone who books a party at this event will also receive $20.00 worth of books for only $6.00 credit in addition to the regular host benefits at your Home Party. Thanks A for posting this. I am so looking forward to showing off our fabulous books and getting to know some of the other KIVers.

For those of you who are thinking of coming, between the two of us we have a very good selection of books for you to browse. This includes quite a few of our brand new 2008 titles that you won't be able to see anywhere else.

For anyone who has never heard of Usborne Books, this is a tremendous opportunity to see what we are all about. For anyone who is familiar, you already know why we get excited about these things... they're just darn good books :-D

If you like the "That's not my..." series, you should definitely check out the new "That is my..." series. So far there is a kitten and a dog and they are touchy feely books meant for the same age group, but with a sound chip that makes dog and cat noises. Way too cute! A. do you have any of these to show? I have "That's not my Pirate" and "That's not my Snowman".

Anybody else want to come and see these awesome books? Lots of different Titles and categories of books available. There are books for newborns, Young Readers, educational books and everything in between. We will also have a French catalogue available to look through.
