Diva Cup Question - Now a RAVE!
So I've read the really long thread on the Diva Cup from a while ago (started a new one instead of bumping up the long old one) and I have a quick question.
I just picked one up, and I'm excited about it (weird, eh?) but I'm wondering if I should "practice" first???

Re: Diva Cup Question
DuckyB, did you read my post in that thread on how to do it/put it in??
I never practiced. I just put it in when I started my menses and I wore a pad 'in case' while I learned. Once I got it, I got it, and I've been pad-free ever since (years now!) and it's grand baby, grand.

For a minute there, I was myself.

Re: Diva Cup Question
Yup! It's what inspired me to try it out!
I read all 6 pages!
And I'm sure I'll be going back for reference material when my period starts!
I'm *almost* looking forward to getting my period in a few days

Re: Diva Cup Question
The nice thing about the DIVA cup is that because it's silicone you can practice with it and it won't hurt at all. I never practiced either and I find that it works great

Re: Diva Cup Question
Well, I think the only way to really figure it out is to use it when you need it.
You get a feel for how it's supposed to sit right, when it's not in right you will know by the leakage! It took me a few cycles to get it down, and now it's a no brainer.

Re: Diva Cup Question
Well it's 4 days into my first cycle with the Diva Cup!
I'm TOTALLY hooked on it now! I have had NO leaks, and while it's sometimes a... challenge to get it to open up, I'm starting to get the hang of it!
Thank you ladies! Especially WCM. The detailed explanations from another post really helped.
I'm telling everyone I know about it, it's SO easy! (although I'm glad I didn't cut the tip off, as it doesn't get in the way at all and I'm not sure how I'd get it out without it! I have a really high cervix though... anyways... )
