IPOD HELP!!!

I gave my son's ipod a lobotomy.

How do I reinstall the software without the original CD?

This is a 20GB click type.

I have the latest itunes.
I reset the ipod, so reformatted it?
I can get it to disk mode, but itunes says it's corrupted and has to be restored. I can't find a way to restore it if my life depended on it. :-(

I'd call them and ask. I am sure there is a place on their website but they have a toll free # there as well.

I'd call and ask as they'd have a list of any authorised repair depots available in Victoria.

im not sure exzactly what they do for ipods but soho computers is open tomorow..call or go in and aks them.
they are an apple dealership place.
im sure theyd know how teo help..and they've done a really good job for my macbook.

I think I either have a battery problem at this point, or need a quick charge. I'm finding this very frustrating. :mad:
