Hey everyone,
I am a graphic designer and KIV advertiser who up until now has mainly designed Business Logos and Stationary. I've just recently started designing Wedding Logos and in order to build up my portfolio I'm offering a free Custom Wedding Logo design to whoever may need my services for their up and coming Wedding.

Hi

My fiance and I are getting married in August next year (YAY me)... Quite excited as the planning has just started, pictures of flowers and colors running through my mind.

I never thought of a wedding logo, but it does sound quite interesting. Do you also do invitation printing? Thanks

In case your friends will be wondering...
Pre-designed wedding logos are a set price of $75 each - all I would do is personalize them to match the couples names and change the colors to match their theme. With their completed logo they will be able to apply it to anything related to their wedding including their stationary design.

TIP: By buying your own paper at a papery or craft store and then getting someone like me to do up the design; you can save hundreds of dollars on your total package - the DIY approach is really fun and easy! You can also get a rubber stamp made with the logo, or have it etched into their wine or champagne glasses...the possibilities are endless and can be so unique.
I recently did a logo for my friend's wedding in August and they will be getting their logo silk-screened on his and her boxers for their honeymoon...lol

Custom Wedding Logos start at $150 and go up from their depending on how much design time is involved. Ideas for custom logos can come from anything that is symbolic to the couple such as a certain flower that ties into their wedding theme or any other symbol that represents their union.
Custom Logos can also be great for Destination Weddings by incorporating an element that represents their destination.

Hi pregnant_smurfette (love your username by the way)

I just updated this post with some more info that would answer your question, but here's some more details about the "do it yourself" approach...

Step 1: Find a graphic designer (like moi...lol) to create your logo or choose a pre-designed logo from my current collection

Step 2: Find some beautiful blank stationary (sold in sets at small specialty paper stores or at large craft stores for a fraction of what you would pay if you were buying it from a specialty wedding stationer) - the variety at these retail shops are really exceptional!

Step 3: Get your graphic designer to create your custom stationary incorporating you unique logo (invitation, reply cards etc...)

Step 4: When the design is complete; take the vector based files I will give you of the logo, stationary design, and your paper selection to a copy place (I have a great one I use downtown that I can highly recommend);
they will print everything you need within a couple of days.
You also get to see a proof on paper of everything before you give them the go ahead for the final job.

Step 5: Invitations are in the mail!

There's also so much more you can do with the logo...wine labels, stamps, etched champagne glasses or candle votives for place settings, silk screened clothing, cake decoration (yes, your logo can be printed on edible photo paper), wedding favors & gifts, programs & menus....and on and on...
