Dinner with the Dark Knight?
First off, I thought this was a good review:
http://movies.about.com/od/thedarkknigh ... t71708.htm
Now how about a $4.25 matinee or Tuesday at the Caprice?!
Theatre hasn't been busy believe it or not.
Plus you get 20% off your meal at Colombo's with your movie ticket.
Taking my son on a cheap date.

That is so cool...thank you for posting this. I may have to ask dh out on a date very soon.
I think it will also be worth the trip to take dd out there on a Sat or Sun for a matinee.....

I think it's worth the trip.

Just remember it's a cash only theatre. I guess that's one of the reasons they are so reasonable.

Nevermind that fact that their regular rates are way less then Silvercity's rates... I drive by this theatre all the time on my way to or from work... I used to go out htere all the time as a kid due to cheaper rates... why the heck did I stop doing that ...just so I could stand in lines and pay huge prices? Boy that is silly... LOL Thank you again Martini for reminding me of this wonderful theatre.

No worries.
My son is 14.
But I have been shocked at how young some patrons are! I swear I saw a 3 year old walking into that theatre. ugh!

You know, I stopped going to theatres for years thinking I couldn't afford to take us as a family.
It was a family member who reminded me about the Caprice. We grab the #50 straight there, and back to Vic. Really isn't much longer than a car ride anyway.
Don't forget The Roxy!

We are going to go see Wall-E today at 2... She is so excited because her cousin went but he got sick and they had to leave..so she is excited that she will be able to phone him and let him know what the ending is....
As you know the #50 is real easy for us to take in and out, I do it all the time for work. And I have never forgotten the Roxy...I was a little worried that the new owner was going to change it a lot but from what I have heard that is not the case.....

Love Love LOVE the Caprice!
We try and go there first if there's a movie playing there we want to see.
The popcorn is better there than anywhere else! And we get the one combo that has a free refill on pop and popcorn and it's waaaay cheaper than anywhere else either!
And although it's cash only they have put a cash machine in the lobby and will let you in to use it

Yes I agree about the popcorn! We do that too, shared the larges.
Had dinner at Columbo's. The 20% off is for pasta and pizza with your same day movie ticket.
We wanted Greek food though. Big portions!!
One calamari dinner was more than enough for ds and I.
Even with cheap Tuesday, the theatre wasn't sold out.
Really enjoyed the movie
