What are you thankful for?
I just thought I would start a neat thread with Thanksgiving coming up.
I am thankful for
2 beautiful healthy children (one who is now waking up loudly from her nap)
A husband that works hard to provide for us so that I can stay home to raise the kids
Wonderful friends
That's just a few things. I am interested in what everyone else is thankful for.

Re: What are you thankful for?
I'm grateful for my fabulously funny family who keep me laughing constantly. My handsome husbands who supports all my crazy ideas, my "I can't say heavy but I can say Chevy" hippy child with all his logical thinking and my fashion forward preteen who can make clothes out of anything from newspapers to old rags and who's nose wiggles more than her mother's when she giggles. I'm grateful that dd is really enjoying school this year and glad she switched programs to something that works so much better for her. I'm grateful that my husband loves to do things like make ketchup with me on a Wednesday night.

I'm thankful for everything that God has done in my life in the last 4 years since I found myself a single mom. He has truly taken me out of the muck and brought me to a place where I wouldn't have ever thought possible. I'm overwhelmed by how good He is to me!
I'm thankful for two beautiful children who are smart, funny, and snuggly to boot!
I'm thankful for the wonderful man in my life who will be my husband in 31 short days!!! I truly could not have picked out anyone for myself who would love me and my kids as much as he does, and whom I love more than I can express!!
I'm thankful that this is my last month of being a single mom!!!!!

I am thankful for:
My two beautiful kids who amaze me everyday.
My wonderful hubby who loves me even when I am crabby
My loving parents how the guided me through lifes bumps and let me cry on their shoulders when I needed to.
My crazy brother how he always watched over me and noogies me still to this day.
My extended family.(aunts cousins uncles) How even though I wanted more brothers and sisters, I really didn't need them because I had so many cousin to fill that void. I am truly lucky to have grown up with all of them nearby.
I am thankful for God for blessing me with the love of so many people.

Re: What are you thankful for?
Number one always for me is that I am so thankful I am adopted!!!!!!!!!
I am thankful for my family, my mom, dad, brother and sister.
I am thankful that they "gave me away" to my husband who is a kind man who loves me and his family with great passion.
I am thankful that I have been blessed to have been able to get pregnant 4 times and that they are have all been healthy happy wonderful children.
I am so thankful that my mom flew over for a few hours to come with me to my ultrasound and to see that the "little robot" is healthy.
I am beyond thankful that I live in Canada where my family and I have access to health care and education and where my daughter will be raised knowing she is no better nor no less than my sons.
I am thankful my husband works so hard and that we are able to lead the life we mapped out for ourselves
I am thankful that we have never had to go hungry
I am thankful that I get to vote
I am thankful for my friends (well most of you
)
I am thankful that my nana is still alive and in good spirits and health
Wow, I guess I am thankful for every minute of every day cause you never know when life can change!

Re: What are you thankful for?
My 3 lovely, quirky, beautiful kids. I am completely exhausted but at the end of the day they make it all worth it.
My husband. We've had some rough times but he's my best friend and we are such a great team. I love that his is the first face I see in the morning and the last I see at night.
I am relatively healthy, except for this lingering bug that won't go away.
I have a warm house, good food in my kitchen, and I live in a very blessed part of the world.

Re: What are you thankful for?
There are a couple of "thankful" threads going right now, so I'll just answer this one:
I am thankful that our family is together this Thanksgiving, and that my husband is not deployed or at sea.
I am thankful that we are a family that loves and supports each other.
I am thankful that we have a warm and cozy home with cupboards that are full.
I am thankful for our extended families who love and support us, even though they are half way across the country.
I am thankful for friends(old and new) who lift us up when we miss "home".
I am thankful for my childrens amazing doctors and teachers who care for and educate them.
I am thankful for the country my husband defends...for its beauty and the freedoms we enjoy.
I am thankful that we believe in a God that is always there...regardless of a looming depression, falling stocks..the list goes on...
I am thankful that my husband and I have jobs that we believe we are making a difference in doing...
My list could go on...
In my line of work, I am reminded everyday that there are always other families dealing with issues bigger than our own, and that we need to be thankful for the joy in everyday
