Are you doing a toonie party were everyone brings a toonie for him and toonie for a charity of his choice SPCA,QA,Homeless shelter?

One thing that I did to was make a wish tree
Where you add paper clips people add the coins

Depending on the type of party make it fun
Winter is coming and no more bees
Please Please please
Just bring me a tonnie
Or maybe two lonnies
Instead of gift
Which means for the moms no shopping shift

something i just come up on the spot

thanks
a toonie party is when the guest brings a toonie for the child and a toonie for a charity of the childs choice.

My son has had a twoonie party for the last two years. He doesn't quite understand the twoonie for charity part so we just mention on the invitations to please not bring a gift but instead a twoonie.

The parents love it and my son loves it as he can go and buy his own present after.

We have been to two twoonie parties in the last month. The invitations both said,"This is a twoonie party... please bring a twoonie in lieu of a gift."

I think it sounds just fine! :)

Hi Lisa,

M just got an invute to a twoonie party and it says in small print at the bottom of the invite "P.S. It is a twoonie party. Please bring two twoonies in lieu of a gift, if you like."

I thought this was an excellent way to word it!

I suggested a twoonie party to M and she opened her eyes super wide and said "No! I want all the presents!"  They sure figure that one out fast! We used to do a gift exchange before they figured out that others get all the gifts at the party. I loved that, but there's no way my kids will go for that now!!

cut and pasted from my invites.

twoonie party

We have too many toys! Please bring 2 twoonies instead of a present, one will goto D's favorite charity; the SPCA, and one will go to the birthday boy

We invited the whole class AND we just moved up island so we finally purged the crappy toys. NOTHING was coming home with us.
you're so pretty
