Photographs - What do you do with them?
OK I have like 100,000 digital photos and that is fine. I print the ones I want to use for the scrapbooks and so far have only done 1 year of DD so am a bit behind
However, I have a few picture frames of us when we were married and DH and I before kids.
On the wall in the stairway I have 6 frames with up-to-date kids photos. Well sort of up-to-date. I usually re-do them every year with 5x7.
However now I am wondering what to do with all the picture frames gaining dust on my bookshelf. The piles just don't get seen so I am thinking of what to do with them.
I am wondering if you keep old photos on the wall or up-date them with new ones? Do you have lots on the wall in a certain area or all over the house?
We have a small place with limited wall space. As both my Dads and my DH are artists we have paintings on all the walls with the exception of the stairwells.
I am thinking of buying those collage ones but then I would have to print more to fit

I put new photos in front of old ones in the frames. This way I have all the kids school photos in one place and I look through them whenever I put a new one in.
However, I do like the collage frames, I would like to try one out.

Have you considered making a photo book? They are quite reasonable and very quick and easy to make. I just made one through Costco and paid $28 for 20 pages. They come in a nice hardcover (the suede look is nice and not nearly as expensive as the leather) and store easily in your bookcase or put on your coffee table for all to see. I'm going to start doing one per year.

The coolest thing I think out there are the digital frames, I am buying one.. and then you can put tons on the digital frame and enjoy them in a slideshow.... I think they are the greatest things... you can get really fancy ones or just simple ones.....
I am a pic freak lol.... I have a big collage of black and whites in my family room... well it has about 10 pics, recents ones.. my fur babies and me and my dbf and my other family... then going up my stairs, I have a collage I did for my dbf of his girls when they were young... and his mom who has passed away.... I could go on and on but wont bore you lol.... I think having collages of your family makes a home cozy.... I like the look of black frames with black and white pics, very classy....
Hope I helped lol.

Yes, I have enough Pamper's points to get an 8" 20 page photobook done for DS so I will do that. Unfortunately we are limited on shelving. I have done photo albums of our wedding and have scrapbooks in the making for DD and DS. I have a digital scrapbooking program that does amazing job too but it all takes time.

Thanks but everything is digital so I can just get more made if something happens to the existing. That is the cool thing about digital. I have burned them to DVD in the safe too so we have backups.
I am looking into the Digital frames but would like to find a wall mounted one.
We have limited space to put any sort of frames so that is why I am trying to get them off the few shelves we have and onto the walls.Cheers,
Lara

You can get the digital frames wall mounted..... certain ones.. think they are a tad bit more money, but really I just think they are the coolest specially if you have as many pics as you do..... you can load like 1000 pics on a memorty stick and just stick it into the frame, and you can switch that up all the time.... the memory sticks are really cheap....
Have fun..
Have fun..
