1990 mazda miata top replacement.. place/price

Postby phillyphantom on Sun Feb 08, 2009 7:27 pm

Hey,

I'm looking to replace the roof on a 1990 miata. Does anyone know a good place and prices ( if you ever had to do it ?) I'm guessing around $1000.00 ?

Thanks

i did my own top on a Cavaier, it was about $450 for the top, but you have to apholster the freaking car, it was 14 hrs of my life I'll never get back on a car that was only ever going to be worth $200.

i think 1000 - 1500 would be about right, not sure who to reccomend though.
you're so pretty

we bought ours second hand from a member of the Vancouver Island Miata Club, for which we belong. IT was the wrong colour for our Miata so we took it to Prancing Horse and had them paint it to match our car. The painting cost about $200 and the hardtop we got for a few hundred. If it's the soft top, I'd call Cornell Olason the president of the Miata Club and ask him. He's revamped his Miata and would know the best places to go for repairs/replacements.
