I was in the Hillside store yesterday (buying 50% off teeshirts) and the sales associates were telling me that the company had reopened many of the stores that day and they ( at hillside) were waiting for a huge delivery of stock this week.........

I know - I was in Tillicum yesterday and that store is open again... wth?! Everything is 50% off right now there.

When I was searching online earlier to see if they were actually going under again I found an article (or a mention of them in an article) saying that they were going to be re-focusing their attention on the plus-size and organic markets. It will be interesting to see what their new product line looks like over the next few months. I *think* they've been under bankruptcy protection (or something like that) since Feb. 08 and this restructuring is part of the process they've had to undergo to start over. Hope this works for them!

I know at the TIllicum Location on Mar 10 or 11 the sign just said they had defaulted in their rent. Nothing about Bankruprupcy or filing for protection or anything. I think they just caught up on their rent as there was a sign the other day "For Lease" in front of it. I guess they paid up and worked something out with the Mall to continue leasing the space.
