Check your lab results before your Dr. does

Here is a link to sign up for access to your lab results. You have to have had lab work within the last 10 days, the address that the lab has on file for you, your birthdate and...I think that's it. You get an email for confirmation, but you can confirm until you receive a PIN through snail mail.

You have always been able to request that you receive a copy of your results. You'll get them in the mail within about a week -- no charge.

There is no charge with myehealth, and depending on the test you have done, they will be posted the same day.

I went for blood work at 2pm the other day, and they had my results posted within 3 hours on the site. I went to my DR three days later, and he hadn't even seen the results yet.

I did it this week. Super cool but not for the paranoid. We still need to leave the translation to the Dr. I think it is great because I have had times where the Dr missed important ultrasound results (maybe lost in the shuffle?) until I phoned a month later.
