2nd Nanny McPhee Movie
Has anyone taken their kids to see this one? I have heard it's so-so as far as the reviews go but it's playing in Sidney and we take what we can get without going into town. Is it worth it do you think for a 3 year old? Mine liked the trailer and will sit happily with popcorn for movie time (he wanted to go for his birthday). Thanks.

Re: 2nd Nanny McPhee Movie
Friends of mine went this evening and said it was better than the first one.
(the kids ages are baby, 5 yr old, 7 and an 8 yr old)
I'll be taking mine to see it.

We went to see it tonight and it was wonderful - can't understand how anyone could find it better than the original though! It really lacked the whimsy of the original -and it lacked Colin Firth!
Lovely movie, but was no where as good as the first one, in my opinion.

Re: 2nd Nanny McPhee Movie
I watched the first one just this past week on TV and really enjoyed it, so was really excited to take my kids tonight........I was not disappointed. It was fabulous - although I don't think better than the first...I enjoyed them both equally.
Smile, you may make somebody's day!

We went yesterday and it was a nice break from the usual flashy animated movies we go to. My little guy did get bored because there were no big tricks or CGI stuff but I enjoyed it and made him stay til' the end because I'm a sucker for happy endings.
