Fave makeup foundation?

Postby LP on Sat Aug 21, 2010 8:41 am

Hey ladies, what is your fave foundation (that doesn't require me selling one of my children to afford it)?

TIA

I love love love L'Oreal's Infallible foundation. It feels great on your skin, and you dont need very much.

I use Clinique - can't remember which one but the one with the good coverage as I have rosacea. It costs nearly $40 but a bottle lasts a long time as you don't use much with each use. Mac Cosmetics also has some nice foundations. You should expect to pay more but the quality is much better than some of the cheaper ones.

CoverFX/PowderFX...it's a mineral foundation and has done wonders for my problem skin...looks fantastic too. I think you can get it at Sephora, but you can also get it at the new Shoppers at Uptown. Not cheap, but well worth the cost...HTH!

Mac Studio Fix. It makes my skin look flawless and it lasts a really long time.

I have oily, sensitive skin and I like the Clinique Superfit - no reaction, good coverage and covers pores. I think it's in the mid twenty-dollar range.
I have opinions of my own - strong opinions - but I don't always agree with them - George Bush

Clinique for me too. I use the foundation/powder in one compact. Excellent coverage so I just use a bit and it lasts ages. It's nearly as good as the Max Factor stage makeup foundation I used to wear when I worked in TV, but Clinique is light and doesn't have the caked-on look and feel of TV makeup.

I love Revlon, their shades are great, not too pinky, or dark.

MAC Select SPF 15. Feels very light and sheer and blends beautifully.
