fishing equipment? Anyone?

We are are learning to fish but unfortunately we can't afford t buy rods. If anyone is looking to clean out their garage of gear we would be very happy to take any fishing tackle/equipment off your hands :) Or buy it for cheap :)

We have been learning with out friends and using their rods, but as I am a learner, I would prefer my own rod as I seem to snag it on weeds a lot and lose their tackle:) I caught 2 fish in Elk Lake today though :)
