Not sure if that is all true but you can call them up to be sure. plus my DH says milestone does it too.

a number of them are mailing lists, i like red robins they have a mailing list and the coupon is valid for two weeks (week before and a week after your birthday) baskin robins has a free cone on your birthday (again mailing list)
