Hi Everyone,
As you may or may not know, I'm a nominee for Mom Entrepreneur of the Year through SavvyMom.com. This is a nation-wide contest!

If you haven't already voted, I would greatly appreciate your vote! Winning this title would mean being able to expand the services I provide to the autism community in Victoria. My ultimate goal is to open a multi-disclipinary holistic centre for the treatment of autism. The money and services that the Mom Entrepreneur of the Year receives would really help me to move even closer to this goal.

I am an autism advocate, a volunteer board member for the Victoria Society for Children with Autism, and most importantly a mom to 2 great boys, one of whom has autism. So this cause is very near and dear to my heart.
Please help out a hardworking mama and vote!! If all you KIV'ers voted I'd win for sure:)

Hi,

Are you involved with the Camp Barnard thing this week for kids with autism and their parents? DH is a chef and will be doing some cooking for them:) It won't be fine dining obviously since it's for kids, but he was excited to help.

We were initially signed up to go but other events have got in the way and we can't go. I heard reviews from last year and it sounds like a great time!
That's so great your husband is involved!

Yes, they'll be lucky to have him too:) He plans great menus and has it all planned out in advance (they did the shopping yesterday). He is excited to help. I hope everyone will enjoy it. Too bad you're not going or you could have said hi to him.
