Anyone else with this wicked head/chest cold?
I will never again say "it is JUST a cold" - this thing is rotten. Came home from a trip Friday night, by Saturday I had a sore throat, Sunday it was heading into a cold, Monday I was in bed, already gone through boxes of Kleenex, Tuesday it went into my chest for a lovely cough. It is Thursday now, and I am still moving SO slowly, doing the bare minimum, thankfully the kiddos have a newfound love for LEGO and so are happy to be home this much. Yesterday, I took them outside for fresh air, and lay on a blanket on the lawn listening for them the whole time
BLAH. From the get-go, I did Oil of Oregano, New Chapter throat spray, Vit D, C, etc - nothing touched it.
Anyone share my misery?

Mine is still in the sinuses but seriously how much can one person's sinuses hold? My throat is still sore and I can feel it heading to my lungs. BLA is right.

Lingered about 2 weeks. Still have a cough. I used Neo citran warming relief and buckleys and laid low for days.
One son too it lingered same amount of time.

I had it, and took Echinacea (sp?) vitamin c and elderberry/flower extract and it was mostly gone in a week. But it was one heck of a week with me and the 2 kiddos sick.

Dh came home with what was probably a mild flu three weeks ago...Went right down into his lungs- fever for a few days and feeling like hell...He took 3 full days off of work and came home early the other two - he's still coughing a big, frog in throat, but coming along...It sucks to be sick!

I think i had the exact as you Sue....started with sore throat, I immediately started the Oil or Oregano, etc...then went to headache, neckache, then TERRIBLE cold and then chest ....it's been 2 weeks and I STILL cough ALOT of phlegm in the mornings! In there somewhere I had not left the couch for 2 whole days...just wiped out! Felt like a BAD cold with some flu symptoms!
