What exactly is wrong with your power cord? It may be able to be repaired for less than a new one. What make and model of laptop is it?

The part of the cord that plugs in, I have had to tape with electrical tape it is comming apart. Dell inspiron 1525

I got a new cord for mine at Future shop. It was not cheap - I think $80 but I had looked around. It has worked great for a few years now and came with adaptors so will work with other laptops. HTH

I can repair the end of the cord for $30 max, or replace it brand new after-market adapter for $55. You can email me at tech@bluefedora.ca
