KIV Book Club
So this is how our KIV Book Club will be organized:
Every meeting will have a Chairperson (if there are no objections, I will be the first). The Chair will be responsible for the book selection and generally guide the discussion if it needs direction. The next month's Chair and book will be chosen at the end of every meeting- so please everyone come with book suggestions!! A second Chair will also be chosen in case the 1st Chair is unable to make their meeting.
We will meet on the last Wednesday of every month at 7pm at the Knockan Back Grill. If the last Wednesday falls on a holiday, then we will meet the week prior.
If we jointly think a set of guidlines/rules is mandatory, then we can discuss that at the 1st meeting and any changes during the beginning of any following meetings. Perhaps a group email/phone list can be created as well.
New members are always welcome!! So feel free to invite friends and family.
Most importantly: anyone whom attends must have read the book; including any new members joining. Although this is about getting together socially, the whole purpose is to have wonderful discussions about fabulous books!
First Meeting: Wed. January 26th... Book: The Devil and Miss Prym by Paulo Coelho
Who all will be there???
(I am so excited about meeting and sharing ideas with you all!!)

HI,
I am interested in this club, but I am just wondering who decides what the monthly book will be?

Re: KIV Book Club
I just wanted to let you know what our book club does. We picked out books for the entire year so that people could read ahead if they wanted too. Whoever picks the book is that month's host. It's a lot of fun.
You can print out book club questions online for the books that you read so that you have questions to ask and answer at your meeting.
As we meet at someone's house each month we match the food to the book. It can be pretty fun!
Good luck with your book club.
