What do you want for Mother's Day?
I'll be the first brave soul to stand up and say that for Mother's Day I don't want to be a mom (or a wife for that matter).
I want to stay overnight one night in a hotel, have breakfast in bed, some spa treatments, lunch out, shopping and then home in time for a dinner made for me by DH and DD. They will also wash the dishes, throw in a load of laundry and then put themselves to bed.
Dear Gawd just one day. Is that too much to ask.

I think, at a child's birth, if a mother could ask a fairy godmother to endow it with the most useful gift, that gift should be curiosity - Eleanor Roosevelt

I wan DH to take DS (who is 11 weeks) out for a couple hours so I can have a nap (I am so exhausted right now) and a shower without a baby screaming in the background.

Sunshine
and dinner out with the family - no cooking for anyone, no dishes, no cleaning etc - I think we'll do a Sushi Boat
I'd also like to sleep in....but that's not likely as I am a light sleeper and my kids wake up at 6 regularly.....but I can hope!

OP I love your honesty
Dd was going on about a surprise gift she has for me for mothers' day. Finally she spilled the beans.....she said it's the best gift I could ever want..... turns out that gift is her
Though she did say that she'd be good all day and that definitely would be the best gift

I'll be spending the day with my little ones, my husband is away working in AB. But before he left, he had the kids do a card up for me to open on Sunday
We'll probably go for lunch somewhere and maybe a movie/imax and if the weather is nice a picnic at the park for supper!
