Amazon.com delivery

i know someone on here has bought off www.amazon.com

If you pay for the expedited shipping, and it says 6-10 days (mind you delivery estimate is 11-16 days - WTF?) how long did it actually take to arrive?

I have ordered books and movies from them the last couple years for xmas, never paid for the expedited shipping. All of my items arrived staggered but within a couple weeks.

I ordered something for my boss and it took almost 3 weeks.

We ordered an item last Friday - paid for expedited shipping ($70 shipping for a $100 item -it was an emergency!) and it arrived Monday...

Not sure if that is indicative or not - it's the first time we used cross border expedited.

i ordered a kindle and it was here in way less time than their estimate. But the thing is, they really have no control over how long it sits at the border. So their estimates are usually bang on unless it gets held up at customs
