Fever and no other symptoms

DD has a very high fever but no other symptoms. Is there a bug like this going around? Tylenol doesn't seem to be working that well.

My oldest dd had the same last week. It only lasted 1 day. She was tired the next couple of days and wasn't quite her usual energetic self for almost 5 days but that was it. She is back to her usual self now.

We talked to our doctor when tylenol wasn't working, and she told us to use advil and not tylenol for fever.

It seems that the Advil has brought the fever down to 102 It definitely sounds like a virus is making its rounds - some of the other kids in her class have been sick too.
