swarm jam offer to Las Vegas?

Postby Beaumont on Mon Jan 30, 2012 5:25 pm

Here is the link to an offer on Swarm Jam. I am just wondering if anyone has had any experiece with "Vacation Destination Destinations"?
I know I have always l ived by the rule " if it is to good to be true - it isn't true" but I have researched the company and read all the fine print and other than the $35.00 registration fee and the $50.00 refundable deposit it looks good to me. I have stayed at one of the hotels that is in the offer and it was a good hotel.

I beat the heck out of my alarm clock this morning. It's currently on life support, but if it tries that crap again tomorrow, I'm pulling the plug!!

I have been researching the three hotels and so far the only one that had some good reviews was TI. I have read several reviews that there is a "resort fee" tagged on to the tune of $20.00 per night!! I too have emailed Vacation Getaway Destinations and am awaiting a reply.

I was contemplating purchasing this. However the only hotel I would want to stay at out of the three is Treasure Island as that is our favorite hotel in Vegas, but I don't know if you get your pick in hotels, or if they pick out of the three which one you are staying at.

This was one of the questions I put forward in my email. My only pick would also be TI after I read some of the reviews on "trip Advisor". I also emailed Swarm Jam directly to ask if they have dealt with this company and if so, what was the feedback from Swarm Jam's customers.

It says it is a 650 value, those hotels offer prices way less than that....you still have to pay for flight and you can get such good deals when you do package, imo, does not seem like a good deal... my parents are there now at the Flamingo and the hotel prices were so cheap, we just got an email from them $35 a night for a deluxe room..

It really all depends when you go. I have stayed numerous times at Treasure Island and have paid $69.00 and other times over $100. There rates usually are based on conventions, and functions going on in Vegas at the time. Of course if you go in the July/August ALL hotels are cheap because its so dang hot that they lower the rates. Flamingo is a OLDER hotel, and not nearly as nice as TI.

Destiny; Do you remember paying the 'resort fee"? I mean it is a hotel, how do they get off charging a resort fee??

We had to pay it last time, but times before that NO. It seems to be a new thing hotels are starting to do there. However when they didn't have the resort fee internet and such was NOT free, now it is.

Not worth it for $20.00 per day IMO

I don't think the company is registered with the Better Business Bureau and when I googled the address it appears they are in the same building as the Child Care Referral group, but they don't have a storefront, which makes me even more nervous.
