How do you relax?
I tend to be a fairly anxious person and would like very much not to be!
I was wondering if anyone here has some advice on how to be less anxious and how to relax? TIA!

Re: How do you relax?
For stress a good vitamin B50 or B100 complex does help. If I don't take it daily, I can definitely tell. I have a very high pressure job so patience and calmness are essential when juggling 15 balls.
Also for my DD we use Kali Phos 6x. It is by Hylands and is a cell salt so very mild but it works amazingly for almost instant results. The vitamin store carries it.

Accupuntre and elements of health (stephanie!!) she's amazing and I hate hate hate needles!
My little kids have a great routine which helps me stay relaxed. 7pm - lights out for them. Later in the summer though
And I have a hot bubble bath each night with a favorite drink tea/Shirley temple ect.
If your looking to get active a gym or Personal training/running can be a stress/anxiety reliever too. Good luck

Re: How do you relax?
I schedule an hour at 930 pm to do whatever I want, for me. This cannot include housework, home admin or any kind of parental job.
I drop everything, and have a hot bath, surf the 'net, read a book, stretch...run...etc...I schedule it like a task; must be completed.
I have a lot of anxiety too, and the BStress helps as does cutting caffeine out.
TinyBuddha helps too, as I've mentioned before. Perspective.

Re: How do you relax?
I decided this year to make sleep a priority. As in 9hours per night, because even with eight, I'm still tired. And everything I read says, "Get at least 8 hours of sleep"...."at least"....so I decided nine was better
I also take baths once a week (I also shower heehee) that are relaxing and super hot temperature.
And I organize. This reduces my stress load so much. The dishes are done, most items are tidied away, the laundry is caught up. That's when I actually feel good for some reason. Then I don't have to rush, or make sure the kids lunches are ready in the morning, because it's all done. I can make a hot breakfast for the kids, sit with them each morning and relax with our orange juice and french toast. It starts our day off just right.
Other than that, I'd love to try acupuncture or meditation. And get rid of all processed food in our diet. (one thing at a time though!)

Agreed. If I don't exercise regularly, I feel like I'll lose my mind!
