Neurological Rehab at VGH

I am recovering from my cancerous brain tumour that was removed last February. I finished chemo and radiation in November and am almost at my 1 year since my diagnosis.

This is now my year of recovery. I was just assessed by Neuro Rehab at VGH yesterday and will find out if I am a candidate for their program in a couple weeks.

Does anyone know anything about this program? Or even know anyone that's done it?

My Husband did the Brain injury rehab about 5 years ago after suffering one in a car accidents. He did a bunch of different exercises based on whet he needed help with.

He had right side body weakness and no balance and so he did physical activities for these.
He also took classes to help improve his memory and cognitive abilities.

Super great people in there. Very supportive, kind and funny!
