hand/foot/mouth sucks!

Well, my 16 mth old just got it last week...and go figure i spiked a temp of 39.5 last night, feeling better today but have a killer throat, took a look w/a flashlight and no wonder its sore, full of bumps! now they're appearing on my fingers (my clicking finger to-boot)

Any one else hard of adults getting it?
from what i read it's pretty uncommon!

So ya...this SUCKS!

I got it when I was about 8 and I remember it well. I have 3 siblings so I wasn't allowed to touch anything in fear I may pass it on, and boy did it hurt.

I got it when I was pregnant with my second. Never developed in my mouth, just fingers and toes. DOn't have any idea where I picked it up and no one else got it as it was very mild and doc said just to cover up the spots and not to hack or sneeze on anyone!

I got this just after my first child. I was teaching at the time and it went around my school. I caught it and my baby had it as well. We both had the bumps really bad on our hands and feet....not in our throats/mouths My feet felt like they were asleep all the time and it hurt to walk. My hands just felt sore and looked terrible!!! It spreads really easily!! I was told that adults can get it if they have a weaker immune system at the time. Hope you recover fast:)
