i have no clue either... but i googled it as well..... lol he's a scottish cabinent maker.... who came to america and changed the spelling of his last name :lol:

but he seems pretty popular..... 10 pages of people asking questions about his furniture by name....

I was having a conversation with a friend, and
somehow I made reference to Duncan Fife.
He said "Who's Duncan Fife?"
I said he's a famous American furniture maker.
He said "How the hell would anyone know that?"
I figured it was common piece of information.
He said "I bet you no one
you ask will be able to answer."
The bet is on and I've obviously lost. :wink:
