LEGOLAND California

Has anyone ever been to LEGOLAND in San Diego? I want to plan a little getaway for next spring (ie: 2-3 days) and am thinking either there or Disneyland. My ds will be 5 by the time we go - and he loves Lego!
Any info would be appreciated! Thanks

We haven't been to that one but we've a couple of times to the one in the UK. My dd LOVED it! She was 6 the last time she went.

My nephew went at about 10 yrs and loved it.

We went when our oldest kids were 8 & 9.

We had a great day there but many of the activities and rides are geared to younger kids - I think it may be good for someone with children from 2 to 8 primarily.... probably not older than 10...

We went to San Diego for 4 days - then Legoland for 1 day - then Disneyland for 5 days - it was a great trip except for one of the kids getting the flu the last couple days - I know the kids he got it from - they were laying down at the restaurant the first night of our trip - feverish and coughing.... Sure wish that family had chosen room service.....
