3) Click "User Control Panel"
4) Click the "Profile" tab
5) Click "Edit signature"
6) Make desired changes
7) Click "Submit"
How do I get the email button link to appear on my posts?
1) Log in to your account
2) Go to the KIV Community Board
3) Click "User Control Panel"
4) Click the "Board Preferences" tab
5) You should now have the "Edit global settings" side tab highlighted
6) Check the "yes" option next to the "Users can contact me by e-mail"
7) Click "Submit"
How do I allow/disallow people from seeing my online status?
1) log in to your account
2) go to 'My Account'
3) click 'My Community Settings'
4) click the 'Board Preferences' tab
5) look for 'Hide my online status', and check the preferred setting
6) click 'submit'
How do I post on the Community Board?
1) Log In to the site via the "Log In / Register link at the top, right-hand side of the site
2) Go to the KIV Community Board
3) Browse to the forum of your choice
4) Click the "New Topic" button
5) Fill in the fields, and submit the form
The time is incorrect on the KIV Community Board, how can I get it to display the correct time?
1) Log in
2) Go to the KIV Community Board
3) Click "User Control Panel"
4) Click the "Board Preferences" tab
5) Select "[UTC - 8] Pacific Standard Time" from the drop down
6) Select "yes" on the field that reads: "Summer Time/DST is in effect:"
7) Click "Submit"
How do I include an image within my post?
In order to have an image appear in your post, you will first need to upload it somewhere on the web where it can live, and that you can link to.
A lot of people use http://photobucket.com.
Once your image is there, you can link to it by putting the URL (web address) of your image in between the following tags within your post:
[img][/img]
So, it would look something like this:
[img] http://photobucket.com/your_image[/img]
Just add that to your post, and your image should appear.
