Hi! My name is Iesha Kennedy and I'm a local Wire Artist that specializes in creating unique pieces of jewellery and other forms of wire art. If you're looking for a special piece of jewellery or a funky beaded accessory for your home or wedding, you've come to the right place. I originally started working with wire in 2006 while making center pieces and accessories for my wedding. I have always loved playing with beads and making fishline jewellery, and when I discovered wire and all the things you can create with it - I discovered my passion. In 2007 I started my own business, Beaded Creations, and spent the year busily creating custom jewellery designs, wire and bead embellishments, suncatchers, home decor, wedding accessories and more. I'm now half way through my third year of business and busy with a ton of custom orders and a few markets/shows sprinkled here and there. I use a wide variety of materials in my designs. In my jewellery I generally work with solid sterling silver wire and findings, and use a variety of quality beads including semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls, Swarovski Crystals, and handmade Artisan Lampwork. The majority of my Lampwork I buy from North American glass Artists, some locally and some spread across Canada and the United States. I also occassionally buy pieces from International Artists. I take care in selecting the beads and stones I want to use in my designs and spend hours hunting for the right ones. I also create enameled copper embellishments (perfect for paper crafts), copper suncatchers, wrapped vases and a variety of bridal accessories. Some of my items are made to order.
