A free Monday coffee morning for parents. Gather with other local parents for a bit of adult conversation and play time for your little one(s). This group is open to all parents of children ages 0-5. Expectant moms also welcome.
Adults must be in attendance.
First Cafe is on Monday April 16th.
We'll meet on Mondays 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM in the Community Hall of the Oak Bay United Church on Mitchell Street.
Free coffee and tea for adults.
Entrance on Mitchell.
Plenty of parking in the church parking lot off Granite St, or street parking on Mitchell.
Please note this group is not affiliated with the Oak Bay United Church. The OBUC has been very kind and generous in offering their space and coffee facilities to this group free of charge.

Learn from each other, ask questions of staff, find out about community resources for yourself and your family. Soup lunch provided; opportunities for emergency food, clothing exchange, assistance with bus tickets to help you get to and from the group. Runs every Wednesday and Friday until the end of May. Explore our ocean with the Maritime Museum of BC through our What Lies Beneath Lecture Series. Every fourth Wednesday from 7-9pm until May, we will host a presentation on various topics that currently affect this underwater environment. These presentations will feature key-note speakers who are active every day in understanding, studying and monitoring our ocean. Doors open at 6:30pm. Cost is $12 for General Admission; $10 for Seniors and Students and free for MMBC Members and children 12 & under.
Wednesday, April 25th, discover all of British Columbia’s sunken archeological treasures with Jacques Marc of the Underwater Archeological Society of BC. Learn of the thousands of ships which have sunk off our coast as well as thousands of years of First Nations history located in the water just off old village sites.
Spend the evening with Jacques as he guides you through the experiences and discoveries of the UASBC. Along the way he will introduce you to some of the technology used to search for wrecks and introduce you to some of the unique submerged cultural resources of BC.
